For landlords & property managers

One verification.
Then we stay out of the way.

A resident signed up and we have asked you to confirm the lease and their payment record. That is the whole ask. You are not enrolling in anything, you are not being billed, and nothing about your process has to change.

What we actually need.

Enough to confirm the account is real and the payments happened. Nothing beyond it.

That the lease is theirs

The resident’s name on the lease, the address, and the term. We report the person who is actually obligated and actually pays — which is also why we turn people away when the lease is in someone else’s name.

What they paid, and when

The payment record you already keep. We furnish it as it happened, including any late months. We are not asking you to characterize anyone, only to confirm the ledger.

A few minutes, once

Describe the verification method concretely: a form, a portal, a phone call, a ledger export. A landlord deciding whether to respond wants to know how long it takes before they start, and “a few minutes” without a method is the kind of claim that gets ignored.

Why this is worth answering.

Beyond doing a resident a favor, which is a real reason but not the only one.

Rent that is reported gets paid

A resident who knows their rent lands on their credit report has a reason to pay it before anything else that month. If there is evidence for this — internal data, or published research on reported rent and on-time payment — cite it. Without a citation this is an intuition, and this audience will read an uncited claim as a sales line.

It helps the residents you want to keep

The people who ask for this are the ones paying on time and planning ahead. Helping them build a file is cheap for you and occasionally the difference between a renewal and a move.

What this does not do.

The concerns landlords raise, answered directly rather than reassured away.

  • It does not cost you anything. The resident pays us. There is no landlord fee, no subscription and no per-unit charge.
  • It does not make you a furnisher. We report the data; the FCRA obligations that come with furnishing are ours, not yours. Have counsel confirm this sentence before publishing it. It is the single most important claim on this page for the reader, and it needs to be exactly right rather than approximately right.
  • It does not change how you collect rent. Payments keep going wherever they go today. We are not in the payment path.
  • It does not enroll your other residents. Verification covers the one person who asked. Anyone else has to opt in themselves.

Managing more than a few doors?

If there is a property manager path — a bulk verification method, a standing arrangement, an integration with a management platform — describe it here. If there is not one yet, say that and give a contact, because a manager with 300 units will not answer one-off verification requests indefinitely and that is the point at which this program either scales or quietly stops working.
