How it works

Your record isn’t bad.
It’s incomplete.

If you’ve paid rent on time for four years, you’ve produced more payment evidence than someone with a small credit card. Only one of you got credit for it. We fix that by adding the record, not by arguing about it.

Two different businesses.

People often assume we’re a credit repair company. We’re not, and the difference isn’t tone or branding — it’s the mechanism, the regulatory posture, and what each one implies about you.

Credit repair

Subtracts.

Disputes items already on your report and asks a furnisher to concede they were wrong. The argument is that your record is inaccurate.

The furnisher can decline. It can take months. It often fails.

Rental Kharma

Adds.

Reports accurate payment history that was never collected in the first place. The argument is that your record is incomplete.

Nobody has to reconsider anything. We’re a furnisher reporting facts that were always true.

What actually happens.

Five stages, start to finish. Confirm each timing figure against current operations before this page goes live.

  1. 1

You tell us what you pay

Your address, your landlord or property manager, and which utility accounts are in your name. No credit pull, and no effect on your score to sign up.

    About X minutes

  2. 2

    We verify the payments independently

We confirm each payment with the party that received it — your landlord, the utility, the payment processor — rather than taking your word for it. Verification is what makes the data furnishable, and it’s the step a lender will ask about if anyone ever does.

Describe the actual verification methods here: landlord confirmation, bank transaction data, utility statements. Be specific — this paragraph is doing compliance work, not marketing work.

  3. 3

We attach the history you’ve already built

This is the part most services skip. A tradeline opened today with one payment on it can lower your average account age. A tradeline carrying the years you already paid is a different object entirely.

Up to N months of past payments

  4. 4

We furnish it to the bureaus

Reported in Metro 2® format to name the bureaus explicitly — which ones, and confirm all three. Mortgage underwriting typically runs off a tri-merge and the middle score, so a tradeline that only reaches one bureau may not touch the score that decides your loan.

Typically appears in about a week

  5. 5

    We keep it current

Each month we report the payments you keep making. A stale tradeline loses value over time, so the record only keeps working for you — on an auto loan, a refinance, an insurance quote — while it stays up to date.

Why this is fast, and why that isn’t a red flag.

“Results in about a week” sounds like a claim you should distrust, because it’s the register credit repair advertises in. So here’s the reason it’s true.

Credit repair is slow because it’s adversarial. It asks a company to agree it made a mistake. That company can say no, and frequently does.

We’re fast because we’re not asking anyone to reconsider anything. We’re reporting payments that already happened, verified with the party that received them. The only delay is the bureaus’ normal update cycle.

Speed here isn’t a promise about your outcome. It’s a property of the mechanism — and it’s evidence the mechanism is honest.

What appears on your report.

We show you the artifact, not a before-and-after score screenshot. What lands on your file is verifiable, and it’s entirely within our control — a score is neither.

Replace with a redacted screenshot of a real reported tradeline once one is cleared for use. A file that gains several accounts at once, all from one furnisher, can look unusual to a manual underwriter even though every account is legitimate and years old — here’s the explainer you can hand your lender
